02. Maksym’s Story // To The World, Joy
The war in Ukraine is not just something that Ukrainians have been impacted by; the ripples of the war have been felt in the UK and all around the world. We’ve experienced a cost-of-living crisis and many people are living in fear this Christmas.
This is a video that tells the story of Maksym, a young boy, who escaped war in Ukraine and is now a part of our church in Brighton. But the purpose of this video is not to shed light on just one person, but also the effects of the war on everyone.
It doesn’t end there though, we get to know Joy in the midst of suffering - we can receive both the joy of God and the God of Joy.
