Rooted // Emmanuel Women's Day Conference

Growing from last year (plant pun, ha) we invite you to join us at our Rooted Women’s Day Conference. Take some time out for yourself, to connect with sisters, mothers, and daughters in Christ, and grow deeper in your walk with Jesus.
This year’s theme, Rooted, is a continuation from last year. We are inspired by the call to be deeply rooted in God’s Word, His Spirit, and one another, and believe there is more to gain from the rich soil of this gospel we believe in.
Whether you’ve been walking in faith for years or you’re just beginning to explore, this conference is for you. Together, we’ll discover how to grow strong, flourish, and bear much fruit in every season of life.
Main Session Speakers
This year we have two amazing main session talks from two amazing women: Jo Simmonds and Nicola McCoosh!
Jo Simmonds is married to Matt and together they have been back from Amsterdam and leading our Hove site for the past 18 months. Jo does not like coffee, but does love Jesus! She's excited to speak to us this year on being Rooted in Love, and to create a space for women to step away from the busy-ness, meet with God themselves, and be a blessing to each other as we gather.
Nicola McCoosh is married to Kenny and together they lead Emmanuel Belfast after having been sent out from us here in Brighton in 2020 (church planting mid-pandemic, as you do). Nicola is passionate about lives being truly changed by the gospel, and seeing restoration in individuals and communities. This was a huge part of their journey to go church plant, and naturally leads into her speaking to us about being Rooted in Mission.

*There will be a prayer/quiet space available throughout the day on the first floor in the Edwards Room. This is a space to go and pray, journal, engage with some creative stations - whatever will bless you in seeking God in stillness. This space will be un-monitored, so anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied, and we ask that all are respectful of the space and refrain from social conversations that may disrupt others.
